COOK COUNTY, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Cook County Assessor Fritz Kaegi secured a second term.
Fritz Kaegi assumed office in 2019. Kaegi announced in July that Cook County homeowners would not see a staggering increases in their property values. Kaegi has also updated the office's technology.
Nico Tsatsoulis, Kaegi's opponent and the Libertarian candidate for county assessor, described himself as an irate citizen. According to his campaign website, Tsatsoulis stands for fairness, stability and consistency and predictability.
