INGLEWOOD, Ca. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Five facts about this Super Bowl to amaze your friends and annoy your enemies:

.) This is the second straight year a team will play in a Super Bowl in its home stadium. Last year, the Buccaneers won at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa; this year, the Rams can do the same at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. No team had ever played a home Super Bowl before these two seasons.

.) However, the Rams will be the *road* team in this Super Bowl. They'll use the visiting locker rooms, they'll call the coin toss, and they'll wear their white jerseys, because the Bengals chose to wear their standard black home threads.

.) Cincinnati was a 125-to-1 shot to even reach the Super Bowl back in the preseason. They won four games last year, but won 10 and the AFC North title in the regular season, then three more in the playoffs, including their first ever road postseason wins.

.) The Bengals are quarterbacked by Joe Burrow, who would become the first QB ever to win a Heisman Trophy, college football's National Championship, and the Super Bowl in his career. And he'd do it in the span of just three years.

.) This will be the second time a Sean McVay-led Rams team plays for the title. In the first, the offensive guru's vaunted attack was completely shut down - held to just a field goal in a loss to the Patriots. If any team can do that again, it might be the Bengals - they quieted the fantastic Pat Mahomes twice this season, holding him to just three second half points and pulling out wins in each meeting.
