Funeral services announced for Chicago firefighter killed on Monday

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The Chicago Fire Department has announced funeral plans for a fallen Chicago firefighter.

The CFD said the funeral for Andrew "Drew" Price will happen Monday, Nov. 20 at the Navy Pier Grand Ballroom.

Price was with the fire department for 14 years. He died Monday after falling through a light shaft while responding to a fire in Lincoln Park.

Those close to him describe him as a "leader and a great firefighter" and a "light of sunshine."

Arrival time is set for 8:45 a.m., with a CFD walk through at 11:30 and a public service at noon.
