(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A 34-year-old Chicago man faces federal drug-trafficking charges after authorities raided his home and seized guns and illegal drugs, prosecutors said.

Law enforcement conducted a court-authorized search of Hugo Pinzon’s Wicker Park residence last week after he sold cocaine to a person cooperating with federal authorities, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago.

Authorities seized at least a dozen firearms, thousands in cash and “distribution quantities” of cocaine, fentanyl and marijuana, officials said.

Pinzon was arrested last week and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

He is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
