(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A 43-year-old Hanover Park man has been found guilty of nine felony firearms counts following a bench trial in DuPage County.

Jeffrey Levander was caught in the sting in December of last year.

The Attorney General’s office, which prosecuted the case, says he agreed to sell “two unserialized firearms, a machine gun conversion device and a spring-loaded knife to an undercover investigator.”

The guns are described as a Glock 43 model clone and a Glock 17 model clone. The sale price was a little over $4,000.

Levander was convicted of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful sale or delivery of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm without a FOID card, and unlawful sale or delivery of an unserialized firearm.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced in late September.
