(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Chicago Bears will mark a franchise first in 2024: The team will be featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” according to an announcement from Warner Bros. Discovery.
The show, which is produced by HBO and NFL Films, will cover the Chicago Bears 2024 training camp in five episodes, the first of which will air on Aug. 6.
“The 2024 training camp will be big for us in preparation for achieving our season goals, and we look forward to bringing the fans at home along for the journey,” said Bears General Manager Ryan Poles in a press release.
Chicago has never been featured on the series before.
Many fans have been looking forward to seeing the Bears take the field this year after the team made a flurry of moves in the offseason, including taking quarterback Caleb Williams and wide receiver Rome Odunze in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Other new additions include: wide receiver Keenan Allen, running back D’Andre Swift, safety Kevin Byard and Offensive Coordinator Shane Waldron.
The Bears’ training camp feature on Hard Knocks will be narrated by Liev Schreiber, who will be marking his 18th season with the show.
After the debut episode airs on Aug. 6, the following episodes will air on each subsequent Tuesday through Sept. 3.
