CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The wait is almost over for Harry Potter fans in Chicago.
The Harry Potter Shop Chicago is set to open its magical doors on April 10. It will feature a moving mermaid-stained glass window, a familiar sight from the Prefects’ bathroom at Hogwarts.
Warner Brothers Discovery said the more than 12,000 square foot store will be below the Omni Hotel at 676 North Michigan Avenue.
The shop will be inspired by “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” Among the offerings is a Butterbeer Bar.
The shop will offer an abundance of Chicago-specific Harry Potter merchandise.
