HICKORY HILLS (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man accused of murdering his grandfather appeared in Cook County court Sunday.
Dean J. Faulk was charged with murdering his 90-year-old grandfather, Dean L. Faulk, in their Hickory Hills home on Friday.
Cook County court documents alleged the suspect hit his grandfather in the head and neck with an ax multiple times.
The person of interest was taken into custody Friday. The next day, younger Falk was charged with first degree murder.
Police said there was a history of domestic-related incidents at the home.
