(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicagoland residents can grab some free pancakes today.
Both IHOP and Denny's are offering a free short stack to patrons in honor of National Pancake Day.
At IHOP, pancake lovers can get a free short stack until 7 p.m. if they dine in.
The offer is part of the eatery's "Month of Giving," campaign. Customers are requested to leave a donation, which will be given to Feeding America this year.
"IHOP has partnered with Feeding America, the largest charity working to end hunger in the U.S. Together, we will work towards eliminating food insecurity in the communities our restaurants serve, starting with IHOP’s Month of Giving and National Pancake Day celebrations," IHOP said in a statement.
At Denny's, patrons can get a free stack on pancakes with a purchase of an entree if they dine in until 5 p.m. today.
