(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – There's less than a week left to have an experience that puts you virtually in the middle of The March on Washington, which occurred exactly 60 years ago.

“The March” has been featured at the DuSable Museum of African American History since August 2021. It recreates the Mall in Washington on Aug. 28, 1963, when Dr. Martin Luther King gave his “I Have a Dream” speech.

“You’re surrounded by people of all colors, all races, all ethnicities that were assembled to fight for justice and to protest for jobs and for equality,” Museum President Perri Irmer says of the experience. “And where are we today? Still in need of American keeping that same promise.”

Sunday will be the final day. For information, go to the museum’s website.
