(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — In north suburban Beach Park, an investigation continues into a deadly traffic crash that happened late Friday night.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said deputies responding to Green Bay Road and Chaplin Street found a 56-year-old man who had been riding a motorcycle dead.
Preliminary investigation shows the motorcycle was heading south on Green Bay Road at what witnesses said was an excessively high speed when it struck a car turning from northbound Green Bay Road to westbound Chaplin Street.
The driver of the car and a female passenger were not hurt.
