CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — It's Chicago's turn to take part in a global, celebrity look-alike contest trend, and this time, the muse is the star of FX’s hit series “The Bear.”

Jeremy Allen White is probably most well-known for his role as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in the Emmy-winning show “The Bear,” or for his work in “Shameless,” both of which are set in Chicago.

Now, local organizers are inviting people to channel their Jeremy Allen White, with a look-alike contest scheduled to take place in Humboldt Park Saturday afternoon.

The contest comes three weeks after a Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest in New York City went viral.

It's unclear who's organizing the Chicago contest, but a flyer for the event says the winner will get $50 cash as well as “some cigarettes.”
