A burglary suspect was still at large as of late last night after he was confronted by a Jewelers row building manager.
A suspected would-be thief was caught on camera outside The Jewels of Chicago store on Jewelers Row downtown smashing part of the door with a chain.
"I don't think he expected anyone to be inside," said Jason Quach, who manages the building told CBS 2.
Quach said that there was in fact someone inside. "The moment he saw me come out with my firearm drawn, he quickly ran away, and I just heard 'No. No No. No," Quach said.
Thoroughly scared the would-be thief off of the premises, Quach did not fire any shots.
