
JOLIET (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A fire broke out Thursday night at a 35-year-old Joliet breakfast restaurant.
The Joliet Fire Department said crews were dispatched to the Old Fashioned Pancake House, located on Jefferson near Hammes, in the early evening. There, they discovered smoke and flames coming from the building.
Crews were able to contain the fire to the roof, putting it out at around 8:30 p.m., the department said.
No injuries were reported.
According to their Facebook page, the Old Fashioned Pancake House opened in 1988.
The restaurant announced they would be closed on Friday.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
