NAPERVILLE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police in Naperville have a juvenile in custody as they investigate a shooting Tuesday that sent several schools into lockdown.
Naperville Police called the minor a “person of interest” in the shooting at a home on Leach Drive. That’s less than just a half a mile from Clow Elementary, so police asked administrators there and at other local schools to lock down, and residents nearby to shelter in place as they searched for suspects.
The lockdown was lifted at about 4 p.m.
Police said the shooting was not random, and the 22-year-old Naperville man’s wounds are not life-threatening.
