LAKE COUNTY, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- One local county is asking their students to get creative for the upcoming election season.

Lake County's leaders are looking to inspire America's next generation of voters and they're eyeing the 2024 general election with an idea to do so.
Beginning this week, students from kindergarten all the way up to the 12th grade can submit a design for an "I Voted" sticker.

Winners will be chosen for three different age brackets and those three will face off and the final winner will have their design become the official sticker used during the election season. Student submissions can be done in person at the Lake County Clerk's office or online until November 30.

Participants also have chance to win a $125 gift card.
