CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A lawsuit against the White Sox has been dismissed.
Brian Ball is a former athletic trainer for the White Sox. His lawsuit alleged that he was fired by the team, because of his sexual orientation, age and disability.
Now, the White Sox have released a statement saying an Illinois Circuit Court Judge has dismissed "with prejudice" all of Ball’s remaining claims against the team related to his termination in 2020.
The Sox said Ball had already voluntarily dismissed all claims against General Manager Rick Hahn personally, as well as two of Ball’s original five claims against the Club.
The Sox said the matter is now closed.
