CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Lincoln Park Zoo's ninth annual Fall Fest reaches its final leg this weekend. The free event offers families an outdoor fall adventure filled with pumpkin picking, nostalgic rides and autumn inspired food options.
Guests can enjoy free live music, professional pumpkin carvers and fall-themed enrichment for the animals. This weekend's upcoming enrichment schedule includes the Bactrian Camel and Pere David's Deer on Saturday, Oct. 28 followed by the White-cheeked Gibbon and Dwarf Mongoose on Sunday, Oct. 29.
Ticketed items include the pumpkin patch pop-up, rock climbing wall, harvest maze, fun slide and much more. Prices range from $4 for one ticket, $36 for 10 tickets, and $69 for 20 tickets.
Guests can stop by Patch's Bar & Grill, a festive fall pop-up restaurant and bar, for seasonal food and drinks including hot cider and s'mores. You can learn more about the event here.
