
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Another line of strong thunderstorms will reach the Chicago area, after an initial round hit the region Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service (NWS) the Chicago area will see scattered thunderstorms between 1 - 5 p.m.
NWS officials expected strongest storms to hit northwest Indiana, where forecasters warned that storms had the potential to produce strong tornadoes and destructive hail.
Things will quiet down this evening, AccuWeather says. Despite the potential for a stray thunderstorm, skies are expected to clear.
Tomorrow, thunderstorm chances come back, with temperatures remaining in the upper 70s, AccuWeather says.
