NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- For the third time in less than three weeks, loaded guns were spotted in vehicles parked at a popular Naperville attraction over the weekend.

A police officer on foot patrol in the parking lot of the Topgolf facility at 3221 Odyssey Court spotted a machine gun on the driver's side floorboard of a parked car Saturday night.

Jaylen Middleton, 19 of Hammond, Indiana was arrested when he returned to the vehicle and is now charged with unlawful use of a machine gun. Police found several other guns and ammunition in Littleton's car in early September.

Darron Prince, 36 of Joliet was arrested and charged for having a visible gun in his car at the same Topgolf location just last week. Ronald Richardson, 34 of Chicago ran into the same issue despite being on parole for gun charges in Cook County.

DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin called the recent uptick in loaded guns possessed illegally being found in cars "outrageous".
