
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Investigations continued after a store in the Northbrook Court Mall was robbed Monday for the second time in recent weeks.
Northbrook police said officers responded to reports of a retail theft from the Louis Vuitton store just before 1 p.m.
Workers told police about 13 men wearing masks and gloves walked into the store, stole several items then ran into three different getaway cars waiting nearby.
More than $100,000 worth of items were estimated to have been stolen. The store is no stranger to crime.
Police said a total of eight male suspects stole purses and luggage valued at over $66,000 on Oct. 5.
Investigations are ongoing.
