A major medical provider is expanding services on Chicago's South Side.
Advocate Health Care has announced plans to add an immediate care center to a clinic on 95th Street near Cottage Grove Avenue.
The new facility is expected to handle 14,000 appointments a year.
Advocate claims the $10 million care center is part of a larger $1 billion investment to offer more medical services and reduce wait times on the city's South Side.
Advocate expects construction on the new facility to be completed late this year.
