CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — One day before the start of the Democratic National Convention, a 21-year-old man was hospitalized after he was shot just blocks away from the United Center, Chicago police said.
Officials said the 21-year-old was driving along Damen Avenue when he got into a crash with someone driving a black truck near Van Buren Street. It was shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday.
