CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man was shot Monday night while standing in the living room of a home in Morgan Park on Chicago's Far South Side.
The man was standing in the home near 114th and Elizabeth, at around 8:20 p.m., when, police said, someone fired shots through the front window.
The 57-year-old was hit in the left arm and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center initially in critical condition. No one is in custody.
Through the weekend, police said there have been 13 shootings in the 22nd District so far this year. That's up from 11 at this point last year.
