62-year-old man shot inside his Garfield Park home: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man is in critical condition after being shot while inside his Garfield Park home.

Chicago Police said the incident occurred around 3:20 p.m., at a residence on Monroe near Pulaski.

A 62-year-old man was inside when a bullet traveled through a window, striking him in the head. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital and was initially listed in critical condition.

It’s unclear where the gunfire came from. No one is in custody.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
