Man arrested for allegedly stalking female middle school students in Elgin

ELGIN, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A man suspected of stalking females students in Elgin has been located and arrested, according to the Elgin Police Department.

A female student from Abbott Middle School told police earlier this week that the suspect approached girls between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday as they were walking home and that he was making inappropriate statements to them.

After investigating the incident, Alan S. Rendon, 25 of the 500 block of N. Grove Ave. in Elgin, was arrested and charged by the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office with two counts of Stalking.

Bond is set at $100,000.
