KANKAKEE, IL (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 29-year old man was arrested after allegedly attacking a woman in a courthouse security line in Kankakee.
The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office said Keith Mattox of Bradley tackled a woman and pulled her hair Wednesday morning as the two were waiting to go through metal detectors in the security line at the Kankakee County Courthouse.
Police said the woman had an active order of protection against Mattox. One of the officers trying to arrest Mattox injured a hand.
The 29 year old is now charged with violating an order of protection, intimidating a witness, domestic battery and aggravated battery to a peace officer.
Officials said Mattox was already on probation for another violent crime.
