Man attacked with liquor bottle while on CTA Red Line train: Police

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man is recovering from injuries after an attack on the CTA overnight.

Police said it happened around 3 a.m. near the Roosevelt stop on the Red Line.

The 23-year-old was riding on the train when another man struck him with a liquor bottle during an altercation. He was taken to the hospital in good condition with cuts to the arms.

No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
