ST. CHARLES, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police have charged someone in the deadly hit-and-run of an elderly Chicago woman in west suburban St. Charles on Friday afternoon.
Police said 23-year-old Andrew Jensen is charged with several crimes including failure to report an accident or death, which is a felony.
Eighty-eight-year-old Helen Radnoti, of Chicago, was killed about 4 p.m. Friday while being pushed in a wheelchair by her adult son.
They were in the crosswalk at North Third and Main streets when the pickup truck struck her and drove off.
