CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man was killed Monday night and a child injured when a shooting led to a crash in the Back-of-the-Yards neighborhood.
The man was driving on 47th South Loomis just before 8 p.m., according to police, when someone fired shots.
A bullet entered through the man's armpit.He lost control, hitting multiple parked vehicles before his car overturned.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said a 6-year-old boy was injured in the crash.
He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital and listed in good condition.
Police said no one is in custody. Detectives are investigating.
