Man fatally shot in far NW suburbs

LAKEMOOR (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the far northwest suburbs Sunday.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Police were called to Rand Road near Lake Drive in Lakemoor for a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital but later died.

A local tattoo shop owner said the shooting happened in front of his business.

He told CBS News Chicago there was a car sideways with blood on it and a crashed motorcycle.

Police have a person of interest in custody and are investigating.
