NILES (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - No one is in custody following a shooting in the northwest suburbs Sunday night.
Niles Police are investigating the shooting that happened just after 9 p.m. near Harlem and Chase. Officers said when they responded to the scene they found a man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Niles Police Department is investigating along with the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force.
