CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police say charges are pending in what appears to have been an accidental shooting this morning in the Lakeview neighborhood.
A man and a woman were sitting in a car at about 3 a.m. at Pine Grove and Surf, according to police. She told them they were passing a gun between them. And, it went off.
The man, 25-years-old, was shot in the head.
The woman, who’s 23, called 911.
A Fire Department ambulance took the man to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
He was initially listed in critical condition.
The woman was being questioned by detectives.
