CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are trying to identify a truck involved in a fatal incident that occurred Wednesday night in the Loop.
It happened at about 10 p.m. on Lower Wacker near Michigan Avenue, along the Chicago River.
Police said an unidentified male victim was walking when he was hit by a semi-truck that fled the scene.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are looking for security cameras in the area in an effort to identify the truck and the driver.
They said detectives are investigating the incident.
