
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man has died after being assaulted outside the House of Blues in River North Wednesday night.
Chicago police said the 47-year-old man was walking near the Chicago River and Dearborn just before 11:30 p.m. when two males asked him for money. Then, one of the males punched the man in the head and he fell.
He was unconscious on the ground when officers found him on the sidewalk and taken to Northwestern with a head injury. He died a short time later. No one is in custody.
