Man shot by scooter rider on South Side: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating a shooting on the South Side last night that involved a gunman on a scooter.

It happened at about 9:30 p.m. at 62nd and King Drive.

According to Chicago Police, a 44-year-old man was standing outside. He was shot multiple times.

A witness told police the gunman was on a scooter, firing while riding.

The man who was shot was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center. He was in good condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
