A man was shot and and two others, including a child, were injured Wednesday afternoon in a shooting that occurred at a Far South Side cemetery, police said.
Chicago Police say road rage may have fueled the shooting as a passing motorist took issue with a funeral procession turning into Mount Hope Cemetery at 115th and Fairfield.
A 53-year-old man was shot in the upper back and two others were injured by flying glass shards: a 7-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man, a police spokesperson said at the the scene.
Authorities say the shooting victim was stabilized at a hospital.
The Chicago Fire Department says an ambulance crew took the child to Little Company of Mary Hospital. A fire department spokesman says the child was in good condition.
Police say no one is in custody.
