EVANSTON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A Gurnee man is facing charges after a weekend shooting in Evanston.
It happened Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the Evanston Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Investigators said during some sort of financial deal, the suspect, a 66-year-old man pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the victim, a 39-year-old Wheeling man.
The victim suffered only a minor hand injury and, with help from his brother, was able to subdue the suspect until Evanston police could arrive and make an arrest.
Investigations are ongoing.
