CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating a shooting on a CTA train Tuesday night.
It happened on a Red Line train at about 8 p.m.
According to police, the train was northbound approaching the 47th street stop.
Three people were involved in a scuffle.
Apparently, two men were fighting with another passenger, a 40-year-old man. One of them shot him in the right leg.
The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition.
Police said no one is in custody and the circumstances are being investigated. That would include going through the train car's surveillance video.
