
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man was standing outside in the West Lawn neighborhood Monday morning when he was confronted by a would-be-robber.
It happened just after 3 a.m. near the corner of West 64th Place and South Central Park Avenue.
Chicago Police said the suspect walked up to the 46-year-old man and demanded his belongings at gunpoint.
The man refused and even tried to run away, when he was shot by the suspect before they fled the scene.
The 46-year-old was taken to Christ Hospital where he’s listed in good condition.
Chicago Police continue to investigate the attack.
No arrests have been made.
