CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man was seriously injured in a stabbing on a CTA train this morning in the Loop, prompting rerouting of trains.
It happened on an Orange Line train at about 4:30 a.m.
The wounded man is 32-year-old.
A report from police said, “Two unknown males produced a cutting instrument and stabbed him in the left side.”
The victim and suspects exited the train at Washington and Wells.
The two ran away.
The wounded man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
