IMAGES: Man wanted for attacking CTA Pink Line passenger

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago Police have released surveillance images of a man wanted for beating up a passenger on a CTA Pink Line train.

The incident occurred on April 10, at about 11 p.m. at the Polk Street Station in the Illinois Medical District on the Near West Side.

According to police, the man approached another passenger and repeatedly punched and kicked him, causing serious injuries.

The incident was captured by CTA security cameras.

The images are clear, showing a man with long black hair and tattoos on both arms, dressed in all black.

He’s about 6 feet tall and 200 to 250 pounds.

Police said they’ll take anonymous tips at CPDTIP.com. Tips can also be left with the Area Three Bureau of Detectives –Violent Crime Office at (312)-744-8261.
