NORRIDGE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating an incident Tuesday night when someone fired a gun at the Harlem Irving Plaza Shopping Center.
Police responded to a report of gunfire at about 6 p.m.
They said a man fired a shot into the floor, inside a store and then ran away.
He was seen with a woman in that store and others.
Police said they believe it was an accidental discharge.
“This is an isolated incident and there is no perceived threat or danger to the public,” they said in a statement.
Police posted images of the man and the woman on Facebook.
They’re asking for help from the public identifying them.
