(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Authorities have identified the woman and man found shot to death in their South Loop apartment Monday, but are releasing few other details.
Leticia Zaragoza, 45, and Joseph P. Fry, 36, were discovered in their home on Indiana near Cullerton around 3 p.m. Monday, according to police.
Both had suffered gunshot wounds to the head, police said. The shooting happened sometime after 2 p.m. on Sunday and before 3 p.m on Monday, according to police.
Zaragoza's brother, Tony Garcia, told reporters he went to the apartment after getting a call from their father that she had been killed.
"She never bothered anybody," Garcia told reporters outside the apartment building. "She was loved by everybody. She was a beautiful person."
