
HARVEY, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police in Harvey are looking for the people who fired shots Monday night outside a fast food restaurant leaving one person wounded.
The incident happened at a Popeyes at 147th and Halsted in Harvey. Patrons were inside eating at the time that numerous shots were fired.
One man was wounded. He was initially reported to be in critical condition. Video footage showed bullet holes in the building and glass door.
"They shot up the whole front line. One of my family members got hit," a witness told CBS 2. "It was bad. It was real bad."
Evidence markers in the parking lot showed two locations of bullet casings. The lot was blocked off with police tape.
No information was released on what led to the shooting or any arrests.
