Man wounded during armed robbery at 7-Eleven store in West Ridge

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago Police are investigating an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store Saturday morning.

Four people entered the store on the 2700 block of West Touhy Avenue at 5:15 a.m. and approached the cash register, according to police.

One of the suspects shot in the direction of a 27-year-old man. During that time, the three other suspects took cash from the register and fled the scene.

It's not known how much cash was taken at this time. The victim was transported to Saint Francis Hospital with one gunshot wound to his right leg and was in stable condition.

No one is in custody at this time.
