A man was wounded Friday morning after a shooting in Chicago Lawn on the South Side.
The man, 46, was walking on the sidewalk at 61st and Whipple just after midnight when someone in a blue sedan opened fire, striking him in the chest, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was in fair condition, officials said.
No one was in custody.
