CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man was shot early Monday morning in Lakeview, Chicago police said.
The shooting occurred shortly after 1 a.m. near the corner of Roscoe and Halsted. A 27-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to police.
He was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs, police said he is in fair condition.
Pictures posted to the website CWB Chicago indicate that the shooting may have occurred outside the Roscoe's nightclub.
The investigation is ongoing.
