CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man is hospitalized after a shooting early Monday morning on the Near West Side.
Chicago Police said he was a passenger a black SUV near Jackson and Ashland when someone in a white SUV shot at him at around 1:45 a.m.
Both SUVs then crashed into a building. Police said the people in the car with the shooter ran away.
The 33-year-old man who was shot was taken to the hospital in good condition with a wound to his midsection.
No one is in custody.
