HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Minnesota’s Attorney General is accusing a COVID testing company based out of Hoffman Estates of failing to deliver and faking results.

Some Minnesota residents said their results from Doctors Clinical Laboratory came far later than the two days advertised for PCR tests and 15 minutes for rapid antigen tests. The lawsuit accuses the lab and Center for COVID Control of false advertising, deceptive practices, and fraud.

According to the Attorney General’s lawsuit, results sent to the Minnesota Department of Public Health from Doctors Clinical Laboratory had a positivity rate ten times higher than the states.

The AG claimed former employees said expansion without proper support lead to chaos, with managers telling them to falsify receipts and lie about results on samples that were never tested.

The Center’s website said last week it was pausing collections after unusually high patient demand affected customer service standards.
